Women entrepreneurs in India have come a long way. 
Women in India has been subject to many changes over the years in Indian history. Their reach has been continued to modern business platforms. Women of today are educated, self-dependent, empowered, and gaining success in each field. As we know Indian economy is growing rapidly, Startups and Entrepreneurship are turning out to be the engines driving this growth. Today women of India are playing important role in entrepreneurship as well. Women Entrepreneurs are the women who innovate a new business idea and make their own enterprise and control it. women Entrepreneurs in India need better access to finance and need to enhance their social networks.

Women are called " Better half of society" Indian population has half population of women but our society is still male dominated and women are not treated equal part of society. Sometimes family perception also against to the ambitions of a women. Now, it is very needed to establish equality because of advancement of women in every field in India. For this, awareness about business is required. They also need to be independent and confident to compete with world.

Investors are trying to raise female-oriented funds to encourage them for entrepreneurship and for being good leaders in India. There is a need to provide incentives for women who want to be an Entrepreneur and want to open her enterprise.


 Indian government is also trying to encourage more and more women to be financially independent. Some of government schemes working in India for women are:
Startup India - Women Entrepreneurship program (WING)  

Trade Related Entrepreneurship Assistance and Development (TREAD)

Rashtriya Mahila Kosh 

Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency Limited (MUDRA)

However, women Entrepreneurs in India are working very well, a stronger push is also needed to encourage them by our nation and by us.
